Mountaineer Treeways Tree Planting

Planting trees will give us shade & slow down the rain during a storm.
Thanks to Mountaineer Treeways, a grant program of the West Virginia Division of Forestry's Urban and Community Forestry Program, the PHLOW students at Capon Bridge Middle School received several dozen trees to plant of their school campus.  We planted the Dogwood trees in a circle where they will grow into a tight bunch in just a few years.  The evergreens were planted on the north side where they will grow tall and eventually be a wind break to slow the cold north wind.  The trees all got lots of mulch and water.
